Crystal Clear - Mexico 2023

On October 21st, 2023 a group of 10 attendees made the journey to Tepoztlán, Mexico. People from past retreats and new friends from all around the world set out to find clarity within their life. Through daily workshops, breath work, movement, sound healing, hot/cold exposure and mediation, they landed in a complete sense of knowing.

The 7 days were nothing short of challenging. Each day had a different focus and within these themes there was space for workshopping, connection and reflection. Our first evening started with our opening ceremony where we started with introductions and then set intention. Every morning started with a hour yoga practice by Jaclyn and followed by a 30 minute Sri Vidya Samaya Tantra sequence with Esteban, hired breath work facilitator. Every evening they ended on the calming vibrations from Jades sound bowls. A few days into the retreat the team embarked on the traditional Mexican sweat lodge, TEMAZCAL, which was lead by a local shaman from town. This experience was what some retreats explained as the most challenging but the most rewarding journey. The following day was fully silent and mother nature came in on our side with a beautiful rain fall to really push retreaters to go inward for self-exploration and reflection.

To experience Tepoztlán we spent a day in the town eating local foods, shopping at local stores, and took a huge hike up to the top of the mountain to see the pyramid, Tepozteco. This was one of our favourite days. To see all of these beautiful new friends embark on a challenging hike and explore the town together.

The final full day ended with an ecstatic dance into sound healing and a crazy light show by mother nature. Celebrating the growth, hardships and journey the group went through the 7 days was truly the cherry on top.
